ASSERT Lab Accounts

Students enrolled in classes that use the ASSERT Lab will be provided with lab accounts, which have a one semester duration by default.

Use of the ASSERT Lab for interdisciplinary research projects is encouraged, and lab accounts can be provided to UAF faculty, staff, or students for such work. Anyone interested in using the ASSERT Lab may submit an account request to fyassert@uaf.edu, stating the reason for the proposed lab usage, and the expected duration of the work.

The remotely accessible portion of the lab has been used by several other institutions, both for research and teaching. Requests from non-UA institutions for access to the lab should be sent to fyassert@uaf.edu, stating the reason for the proposed lab usage, and the expected duration of the class or project.

All ASSERT Lab users must sign and comply with the associated usage policy.
